Line Up
Scrounge
"Scrounge work wonders from a limited palette: within the sonic assault and battery of their songs, there is a deft use of space and textural subtlety... a breadth and depth that keep revealing more." The Sunday Times
Almost Like You Could ignites its art punk fire with Lucy Alexander proclaiming, “Everyone wants something to talk about/ But not a minute to spare, so be brief.” Not surprising from a song that’s 1:54 (‘Higher’), but the raw honesty in her lyrics ring far after the music ends.
Alexander, along with bandmate Luke Cartledge, place the propulsive power of their beliefs at the core of their debut full-length album, and their guiding motivation towards social justice is as fierce as it is welcoming.
Albert
Albert - a new duo comprised of Reid Morrison & Laurie Sherman of acclaimed London Country-Soul band Treetop Flyers.
"Their debut album is certainly, as its title states, Time Well Spent. A collection of seven country-soul songs it is redolent of languid summer days. Lyrically it looks at love in its many facets." - Shindig magazine
Nearly Jethro
Rooted in tragic narratives and English folklore, Jethro's baroque pop is infused with tender balladry. He's a washed up broadway singer staggering through the streets, armed with a drop of gallows humour and a few chords.
Evie Balfe
Evie Balfe
As a terminally indecisive people pleaser, Evie Balfe’s music is a kaleidoscope of the catchy pop melodies she was raised on and the alternative electronic music she has come to later in life. Together with her producer and creative partner James Albarn, she channeled her anxieties into the cinematic synth-pop album Do I Feel Like I’m Happy Now?
Originally released in 2022 and championed by BBC Introducing Lincolnshire, the album is being reworked along with the addition of new songs for a vinyl release in 2025. Evie is also a visual artist, a medium in which she continues to explore issues around self-image and the insecurities that make her music both uniquely individual and relatable.
Blue Bayou
Blue Bayou play odd pop music with horns and strings. For Record Store Day, Greg and Momo will be playing a stripped back set, showcasing a number of previously unheard ballads.
Brian Hingerty
Brian Hingerty is a musical artist from Berkeley, California. He currently resides in the UK splitting his time between producing records and working on his own songs.
