Welcome to our brand new comedy night - Gits and Shiggles!

Headlining the show we have the amazing Chloe Petts. With Taskmaster, Have I Got News for You and Live at the Apollo already to their name, it’s fair to say that Petts is “one of the most compelling young comics” (Brian Logan, The Guardian). Described as “clearly a rising star whose name will soon be in lights” (Bruce Dessau, The Evening Standard), Petts has established themselves as one of the most exciting acts on the comedy circuit.

Our next act is the fantastic Samira Banks. Winner of So You Think You’re Funny? 2023 and a BBC New Comedy Award heat winner, Samira has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting new acts on the circuit. Samira has opened for Stephen Merchant, and performed at Latitude and Kilkenny Comedy Festival. With razor-sharp writing, deadpan delivery and punchlines that seemingly come from nowhere, Samira was also nominated for the 2025 Sean Lock Comedy Award.

Also joining us is the brilliant Joseph Parsons. A comedian, writer and presenter, Joseph was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award and has featured on the BBC’s LGBT Sport Podcast and talkSPORT. An out-and-proud, sport-loving bundle of energy from the West Country, Joseph combines high-energy stand-up with stories about sexuality, relationships and his lifelong obsession with sport.

Finishing the line-up we have the wonderful Joseph Emslie. A stand-up comedian and writer known for his sharp observational comedy, songs and easy-going storytelling, Joseph was runner-up in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and a finalist in the Musical Comedy Awards. He has also appeared on Channel 4’s The Paddock and BBC Radio 5 Live, and has been described as “definitely a name to keep tabs on” (Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke).
