The Beyene Affair are a Brighton-based indie soul trio who also blend the smooth inflections of jazz, hip hop, psychedelia and world music. Formed through a tangle of mutual friends and late-night jams, their music is a reflection of their outlook —born not from ambition, but from a genuine love of sound and connection.
Rooted in Brighton’s vibrant and eclectic grassroots scene, The Beyene Affair draw inspiration from the city's coastal energy and alternative spirit. Their genre-blurring style speaks to an audience hungry for authenticity, rhythm, and a touch of the unexpected. Whether in a dimly lit venue or an open-air concert, their sound invites you in and keeps you swaying.
Caitlin Pinkess is an acoustic soul pop artist from south west London and an alumna of the Brit school. Her soulful vocals and unapologetically honest lyrics speak beyond her years, captivating her listeners. Caitlin’s intimate and personal songwriting explores themes of friendship, love, heartbreak and sisterhood. With gentle acoustic arrangements and a natural, heartfelt delivery, Caitlin creates space for listeners to slow down and feel seen. Her music is rooted in honesty, warmth, and quiet emotional depth drawing inspiration from Corinne Bailey Rae, Lizzie McAlpine and Olivia Dean.
