Tomasz Zyrmont Trio

Join us for an evening of intimate and expressive jazz with the Tomasz Zyrmont Trio, featuring pianist Tomasz Zyrmont, double bassist Ben Hazleton, and drummer Saleem Raman.

Tomasz Zyrmont is an acclaimed London-based pianist and composer known for his strong melodic pianistic voice, distinctive compositions, and dynamic improvisational style. A graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, he has established himself as an active figure on the London jazz scene.

His performances have taken him to leading venues, festivals, and cultural events across the UK, Europe, and the USA, including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, 606 Club, Toulouse Lautrec, and the British Parliament. Festival appearances include the London Jazz Festival, Yamaha Music Live, and the Jazz FM Discovery Show.

As a composer and bandleader, Tomasz has released three albums of original music with his own projects. His latest album, London Manifest, has received positive reviews, regular radio airplay, and media coverage. In 2025, he was awarded the honorary distinction “Merit for Polish Culture” by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland in recognition of his contribution to promoting Polish culture internationally.

Joining Tomasz are two of London's most in-demand jazz musicians: Ben Hazleton on double bass and Saleem Raman on drums. Having collaborated in a variety of settings, including previous performances at the Bulls Head and a quartet appearance at the London Jazz Festival, the trio shares a strong musical connection and an intuitive interplay on stage.

For this special performance, they will present a refined acoustic set featuring timeless jazz standards alongside original compositions, creating a fresh, lyrical, and engaging musical experience.
