Line Up
Anna Sowerby
Anna is a London-based singer-songwriter whose music blends soulful influences with heartfelt storytelling. Following her debut performance at The Half Moon Putney, she brings an intimate, stripped-back set to The Bull's Head Barnes. Inspired by artists such as Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones, Anna's warm vocals and honest songwriting create a captivating live experience.
Rosie Holloway
Born to Irish descendants, Rosie was raised in London, training in guitar from a young age under Tim Pells across a range of genres, alongside classical vocal training to Grade 8 with Carol Savage. She developed a deep love for songwriting in her teens, drawn to the art of storytelling through music. A multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Rosie blends soul, folk and jazz with a distinctly classic British songwriting style. Inspired by artists such as Bill Withers, Tracy Chapman, Eva Cassidy, Elton John and The Beatles, she has secured a publishing deal with BMG and performed at renowned venues including Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s and Glastonbury Festival. Her debut EP London Girl captures the story of a working-class woman in her 20s, exploring life’s trials and tribulations with humour and heartfelt honesty. The project moves fluidly across soul, jazz and folk, always in service of the music.
Sophie Holloway
Sophie Holloway is an independent artist who grew up on the Shotley Peninsula in Suffolk. At school, she learnt classical piano and performed in cover bands with classmates. But while music was a big part of her teenage years, it wasn't until she got to university that she decided to pick up guitar and start teaching herself how to play. Before long, she was experimenting with her own sound, writing tunes inspired by the melancholy of 60s folk and the raw emotion of 90s alt-rock bands. She released her debut album in March, Looking Down the Barrel.
