Blending visceral energy with raw storytelling, the band has earned a reputation for chaotic live shows and a restless, upbeat sound. Following a breakout debut EP that secured key support from Radio X (John Kennedy) and BBC Introducing (Jess Iszatt), the band have refined their sound into something as danceable as it is urgent. 2026 kicked off with the frantic new single “Tucker’s Having a Baby” the first taste of their highly anticipated debut album arriving this May. With an official Record Store Day 12inch vinyl dropping on April 18th and a tour schedule spanning the UK, France, and The Netherlands, French Dogs are cementing their place as one of the most vital voices in the underground landscape.

LONG DISTANCE RUNNER Noise meets ambience, post-rock colliding with film-scores, Long Distance Runner are an instrumental four-piece that have been steadily gathering an audience at London’s best small-venues, The George Tavern, The Social, and Shacklewell Arms, enchanting audiences with wordless pieces that shape-shift and melt into each other, moving between euphoric beauty and darkness, improvisation and structure, tension and release; blurring the lines between form and abstraction. Melodic distortion, chiming guitar riffs, spiralling drum patterns, and moments of gentle calm build up emotional tension, before releasing in cathartic moments of calm and chaos.
The manifesto is simple: to make instrumental music that moves and transforms its audience, and to let the listener interpret it without words.
