Settle in for a feast of seasonal starters, hearty roasts with all the trimmings, and indulgent puddings—just in time for the Boat Race action. Enjoy the best of both worlds: top-notch food and front-row river views.
Races are all shown on our screens then we have live music in the pub until late.
The Brockalites are fronted by Bertie Stein and have garnered a growing reputation for their energetic live performances.
There is something very special about the sounds of Ska/Reggae and Rocksteady music which originated from Jamaica in the last 1950’s and perfected by the likes of Lord Tanamo, Prince Buster, The Maytals, The Pioneers, The Skatalites, Harry J Allstars, the Ethiopians and Desmond Dekker which branched out into the growth of reggae music. This led to an exciting but shortlived revival in the late 1970’s out of the West Midlands via the Two-Tone label bands like the Specials, The Beat and the Selector and Londoners, Madness and Bad Manners and the Brockalites set gives you a bit of everything including reggae classics from the likes of Bob Marley & The Wailers, UB40 and the Clash.
Don't forget to book a table in the pub if you want to eat before the races!
