As a jazz duet, Tomasz and Alan will present an evening of original tunes and jazz standards, creating an atmosphere filled with vibrant energy, virtuosity, and undeniable musical chemistry.
Alan also performs saxophone in Tomasz’s Groove Razors quintet. Together, they have appeared at prestigious events such as the London Jazz Festival, Yamaha Music Live, and the Jazz FM Discovery Show, as well as numerous top venues across the UK. To date, the band has released two albums.

Tomasz Zyrmont
Tomasz Zyrmont is a jazz pianist, composer, and educator with an impressive international background. A graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Tomasz has shared his talents on renowned stages worldwide, from the British Parliament to Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, the 606 Jazz Club, and Boisdale Canary Wharf. His compositions have been featured across a range of radio stations, including Jazz FM, Radio Jazz.FM, Near FM Dublin, PRL24, and 202 Belgrade. In 2024, he presented a few vibrant jazz duets on the Bull’s Head stage, strongly capturing our audience's attention.
Alan Short
Alan Short, born into a musical family in Italy, began his saxophone journey at the age of 10. Under the mentorship of Nicola Stilo, the famed flutist for Chet Baker, Alan refined his jazz skills and expanded his repertoire to include concert, alto, bass, and piccolo flutes. Since relocating to London in 2003, he has become a staple in the UK jazz and pop scenes, performing at prestigious venues and exclusive celebrity events. Career highlights include live performances with legends like Donna Summer, Chic, Natalie Cole, and Sam Moore.
