Sensational jazz vocalist Katriona Taylor and her top band perform songs from the legendry Nina Simone, including numbers like “Feeling Good”, “I Put A Spell On You”, “I Got Life” and “My Baby Just Cares For Me”. Nina’s rich catalogue of timeless jazz masterpieces spans decades. She is regarded as one of the most influential recording artists of 20th-century jazz.
Katriona is credited for her ability to express emotion in her vocal range, from immeasurable sorrow to limitless joy. This show promises to take you on a journey of jazz at its finest. An established artist on the UK jazz scene, with 6 albums released to date, Katriona is equally at home on the intimate Bull’s Head Jazz Club stage or performing internationally to an audience of thousands.
Katriona has received countless plaudits for her polished live performances and has also supported the legendary 10 times Grammy Award winner George Benson on his world tour and The James Taylor Quartet, amongst others. She is a regular at top London venues and festivals.
