Often described as Britain’s classiest and most progressive Blues band, the Blues Engineers have been ever present in the premier league of British R&B and blues, this is great blues played to the highest standard. The band have assimilated traditional styles but also embraced and sought to develop originality as they aim to offer a new approach to the beloved tradition of classic blues. All band members are comfortable with many styles including Jazz, Latin and Swing Blues with much of their original material drawing from these influences. As well as performing with American Blues Harp legend, Sugar Blue, John O’Reilly has for many years fronted the Engineers, touring internationally and playing with the likes of B.B. King, Albert King, Al Green and ex-Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor among others. Together with the noted bassist Philip Mann, (Van Morrison, Leo Sayer, Albert Lee) & top drummer Simon Swan (Jamie Cullum, The Haywood Sisters), this special show from the Blues Engineers is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon - Blues With A Difference.
