The Horns Comedy Club
Entry Requirements: Under 18s to be accompanied by an appropriate adult
It is absurd what a perfectly-matched opening act we have for a gig recently renamed THE HORNS: quite simply, a comedy rock goth God - and preposterously funny one to boot, by the name of Andrew O’Neill - and if you hadn’t already heard of them, well that’s your loss but you have now.
Closing the show is the spectacularly good Yuriko Kotani. She’s awfully nice and horrifyingly funny.
You’re in for a treat. We are privileged to have two fine pro comics rebooting our comedy club.
Andrew O’Neill
Andrew O’Neill is an award-winning comedian, a psychedelic non-binary whirlwind, they combine surrealism, polemic and good old-fashioned stagecraft to produce uniquely counter-cultural stand-up. Andrew has performed in over a dozen countries, at over a hundred different festivals and is equally at home in rowdy comedy clubs (or not so rowdy ones, like ours!) as performing to their own cult following. TV credits include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 50 Years of Rock Excess, The Blame Game and Good News Week. Their own Radio 4 show, Pharmacist Baffler, won an award.
Yuriko Kotani Yuriko Kotani is a UK-based Japanese comedian. She was named as ‘one to watch’ by Time Out and won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2015. She appeared on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, in BBC Three’s Pls Like, CBBC's The Dog Ate My Homework, Channel 4's Big Juice, Paul Hollywood Eats Japan and Soho Theatre’s online play The Boss of It All.
