Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Sophie Simonds has been a performer since a young age. Now 23, she can be found performing her blues/rock-inspired original music live on stage with her saxophone in tow! “I always say, if you want to know what kind of music I’m trying to make, imagine Pink, Freddie Mercury, Amy Winehouse, Gregory Porter and Elvis Presley, all had a baby together, that love child is my music”. Sophie performs at major venues across London and the UK, playing her original songs with her incredible backing band. Sophie draws inspiration from the likes of Gregory Porter, Pink, Amy Winehouse and Bishop Briggs, with a backing of old school jazz influences like Muddy Waters and Miles Davis, and artists like Otis Redding and Tracy Chapman. Sophie writes mostly Blues, Rock and Neo-Soul, but being a saxophonist at heart, she always finds a way to fit in a Blues riff, and a saxophone solo or two! 8.00pm Tickets £12 in advance & £15 on the door
