Featuring Gareth Lockrane flute and Tristan Mailliot on drums, the band members all share a nostalgic passion for the sounds and grooves of the late 70’s and early 80's funk heyday. The set includes classic Herbie Hancock compositions 4am and Actual Proof, John Scofield tunes from the classic Blue Matter album of 1986 and various compositions by Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul. Expect solid funk grooves from the bass and drums team of Flo Moore and Tristan Mailliot, providing the underpinning for the amazing soloing skills of Gareth Lockrane on flute, Will Barry on keys and Mark Ridout guitar. 8.00pm Tickets £11 in advance & £13 on the door
