Fiona Ross Album Launch “Fierce and Non-Compliant”

Vocalist, pianist and composer Fiona Ross has become known for creating her own new, contemporary jazz sound using fast paced Latin rhythms, together with a vintage jazz club vibe and a hint of neo soul crossover feel along with heart-wrenching ballads. “Her style is poetic her messages ooze with millennium angst …..” Jazz Weekly. Written, arranged and produced by Fiona, the new album, “Fierce and Non-Compliant” is an eclectic mix of songs that all sit under the heading of jazz, from the big band sound of the title track, to the haunting, freer ballads to some Latin and funk numbers.
