The highly accomplished American guitarist and Charlie Byrd devotee Nate Najar brings his all-star trio back to the Bull’s Head for a very special show to celebrate the launch of his new album, “Under Paris Skies”. Joined by Conor Chaplin on bass and Matt Home on drums, Nate will be performing selections from the album which explores many of the great French melodies in jazz, classical, pop and film music. Featuring the music of Serge Gainsbourgh, France Gall, Django Reinhardt, Gabriel Faure and more, “Under Paris Skies” showcases Nate and his highly accomplished fellow musicians presenting the debut live performance of this exciting album. Joined by bassist Simon Woolf and drummer Spike Wells, Nate will perform selections from his most recent Candid Records releases, "Aquarela Do Brasil" and "Blues For Night People- The Nate Najar Trio Remembers Charlie Byrd." Driving swing, swaying bossa nova, sizzling samba and singing blues are delicately interwoven by the trio. Nate is single-handedly reintroducing the finger-style nylon string classical technique to a new generation of music lovers.
