Featuring Eric Ranzoni, piano, Mal Barclay (Cadillac Kings) bass and George Hart, drums. An evening of piano based blues standards from Italian raised Ranzoni, often dubbed the “Rockin’ Roman”. As a London based bluesman, Eric has performed at major venues around the capital including the Royal Albert Hall and since 2009 has also been the European pianist for Mud Morganfield, son of the legendary Muddy Waters with whom he has played with at some of the most prestigious jazz and blues festivals in Europe. His music has been played on Paul Jones’ renowned BBC Radio program and he has appeared on national television on Jools Holland’s prestigious “Later” series. Only just recently Eric was awarded by Jools Holland himself as “Blues instrumentalist of the year” at Boisdale Canary Wharf.
