Zoe will be performing perform songs from her new CD "Remembering Blossom Dearie" with Barry Green, piano, Jim Mullen, guitar and Mick Hutton, bass. Blossom Dearie was an acclaimed singer/pianist from East Durham, New York state who performed and recorded many times on her repeat stays in London, recording a live album at Ronnie Scotts club in 1966. Blossom returned to the US after living in Paris for five years to record several albums for Verve records and collaborated with many composers and musicians including Miles Davis, Michel Legrand, Johnny Mercer. Zoe will be singing some of Blossom's most requested songs, "Peel Me A Grape"," I'm Hip", "My Attorney Bernie", as well as songs by Cy Coleman, and Comden and Green.

Zoe Francis started singing while Living in New York for a while. Learning her craft through Barry Harris workshops and singing in small venues in Manhattan with great musicians including Harry Allen and Joe Cohn. Now establishing herself on the London jazz scene Zoe Francis first album 'Looking For A Boy' recorded with Dave Newton, Colin Oxley and Andrew Clyendert received great reviews from Dave Gelly (Observer) and Chris Parker (London Jazz News). Zoe performs regularly at venues in and around London.
