Stormy Monday Club Presents
Mark Freeman’s Crawdaddies
Entry Requirements: Under 18s to be accompanied by an appropriate adult
Drummer Mark Freeman made his name with the likes of Michael Schenker, John Otway and the Rollin Stoned, but he also played Bo Diddley box guitar in the Micky Waller Band (Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Rollin Stones). Sadly, Micky passed away a few years ago, but Mark continues to run the band, keeping its Anglo-American R&B heritage alive with the likes of Keith Grant from the Downliner Sect. Freeman has played Charlie Watts for the last 17 years in The Rollin Stoned and tonight he swaps his drums for a Bo Diddley guitar for a mix of Diddley, Chuck Berry, Jimmy Reed and lesser known Stones classics in an all-star British R&B line-up
