Bulls Head Barnes, London Mon, Feb 12, 2018 8:00 PM

£11 Adv / £13 Door

Entry Requirements: Under 18s to be accompanied by an appropriate adult

Drummer Mark Freeman made his name with the likes of Michael Schenker, John Otway and the Rollin Stoned, but he also played Bo Diddley box guitar in the Micky Waller Band (Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Rollin Stones). Sadly, Micky passed away a few years ago, but Mark continues to run the band, keeping its Anglo-American R&B heritage alive with the likes of Keith Grant from the Downliner Sect. Freeman has played Charlie Watts for the last 17 years in The Rollin Stoned and tonight he swaps his drums for a Bo Diddley guitar for a mix of Diddley, Chuck Berry, Jimmy Reed and lesser known Stones classics in an all-star British R&B line-up

Mark Freeman’s Crawdaddies

The Crawdaddies are a classic a classic Rhythm & blues review who relive the classic early Stones, Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley R&B years. Drummer turned guitarist and band leader Mark Freeman made his name with Michael Schenker and John Otway, before fronting the MICKY WALLER ALL STARS (Jeff Beck/Rod Stewart/Rollin Stones). Sadly Micky died, but Mark has carried on fronting the band with the DOWNLINER SECT bass player KEITH GRANT, playing his trademark red Bo Diddley box guitar.
