Helen Theophanous and the Geoff Castle Quartet will be offering some special seasonal arrangements to celebrate the last of the popular 2017 lunchtime sessions. So this year’s series ends with Jazz Helen and guests celebrating with some of the favourite jazz standard highlights from the year's residency; there will be Swing Ballads and Latin vibes by Ellington, Bacharach and other Great American Songbook greats, together with some Sarah Vaughan and Ella favourites not forgetting a touch of seasonal Shakespeare courtesy of Sir John Dankworth. These alternative jazz takes on festive tunes will be provided by the acclaimed Geoff Castle ensemble with Paul Morgan on bass, Steve Taylor, drums and Kelvin Christiane sax and flute.
