This very classy jazz singer is originally from Surinam but has lived in Holland for many years where she is a high-profile performer, often appearing on national television. She is also the first Dutch solo artist to be signed by Blue Note Records having recorded several albums for the label. Together with top guitarist Wolf Martini, Denise will be performing a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass as this year would be Ella’s 100th birthday.
