Ibstock Place School Big Band Ensembles play the Sunday Lunchtime Session

Ibstock Place School boasts a myriad of jazz ensembles: choirs, acapella groups, big bands, jazz bands and much more. The School takes the performing and expressive arts seriously, encouraging all pupils to participate in music-making and fostering musical ability at the highest levels.  Several former pupils have gone on to study jazz at academies throughout the UK. The School’s ensembles perform throughout the year at various school events such as at termly concerts, Performers’ Platforms, School competitions, Assemblies and PTA events, including the popular May Fair. Ibstock Place School has enjoyed performances at the Bull’s Head in 2012 and 2014, and is very excited to be returning in November.
