A unique evening of jazz presented by pianist Simon Lasky and his group. Signed to '33Jazz' Records they will be performing original music from 'Story Inside' and some brand-new material from their forthcoming album release, 'About The Moment'. Original quasi-symphonic compositions, expressive melodies and rich harmonies are at the heart of recordings and performances by The Simon Lasky Group. Formed in 2015 by British pianist and composer Lasky, their debut album - 'Story Inside' (33Jazz’ Records) - received praise for the fresh approach to jazz composition from both sides of the Atlantic and substantial airplay on Jazz FM in the UK and National Public Radio in The U.S. ‘London Jazz News’ described Lasky's music as a "paean to well-constructed, uncluttered composition and honest-to-goodness musical texture."
