The Skylarks have the beautiful and highly gifted Janan Kubba and the talented Benny 'Wicked Wicked' Trickett sharing lead vocals. The engine room of the band is comprised of Andy Dummett on tenor sax (Ben E King, Eddie Floyd, Dorothy Moore, Percy Sledge, Martha Reeves, Memphis Horns), Chris Chesney on guitar (Ben E King, Eddie Floyd, Dorothy Moore, Percy Sledge, The Flirtations, Billy Idol, Mandrake Memorial), Freddie Pirotta on keys (The Wild Ones), Paul Gordon White on drums (Bob Hokum) and Paul Baker on bass (Royal College of Music alumnus and teacher). This high energy line-up pays musical homage to the great artists and songwriters of the 50s and 60s with an exciting repertoire that covers rockabilly, doowop, R'n'B, 60's jazz and pop, blues and country, all played with the distinctive style that is the Skylarks.
