As the dark winter nights come to an end, Spring brings new hope for the future with thoughts of new romance to come and perhaps romances past. Songwriters have always been inspired by the change of the season, as cold winter days give way to the new shoots of Spring and this special show is celebrated with jazz standards, swing numbers, Latin rhythms, ballads and some surprises, including songs by Hoagy Carmichael, Gus Kahn, Vernon Duke Gershwin, Jobim, Bacharach, Thelonius Monk and more. Celebrated vocalist Helen Theophanous who has a wide-ranging background in musical theatre and on the concert platform, has been delighting London audiences for many year, her warm voice and welcoming stage presence making every gig both an intimate and a fun experience. “Classy …. great voice ….. stunning…. fantastic drama …. presence …..” says international jazz vocalist and radio presenter Claire Martin.
