Step back in time to the golden days of soul, r&b, jazz and blues, as the monthly Flamingo Club continues to celebrate the famous West End club. Started in August 1952 by Jeffrey Kruger, the club moved to its famous Wardour Street premises in 1957 and became a home to the best in blues, r & b, soul and jazz. The 7-piece house band includes John O’Leary (Savoy Brown)/Alan Glen (The Yardbirds/Nine Below Zero), Nick Newell sax (The Kinks) Papa George gtr/vox, Pete Miles (Radical Sheiks), Glynn Evans (Ray Davies), Tim Penn, pno (Kevin Coyne/Andy Summers/Cadillac Kings) with special guests Gary Fletcher & world famous producer Mike Vernon (Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green)
