Stormy Monday Club Launch Guitarist Jon T Bone Taylor & Keyboard Player Tim Richard’s Reunion EP ‘JT4’: JT4 sees the reunion of these two musicians who worked together during the 90s, (The London Blues Band, Roogalator II and the original Grooveyard) and accompanied US blues artists Mojo Buford & Deitra Farr and British Blues Queen Dana Gillespie. Jon Taylor was given the name T-Bone by fellow musicians after the great blues singer and guitarist Aaron T-Bone Walker, a personal favourite. He led the acclaimed, London based blues band The Bop Brothers and performed with such greats as Champion Jack Dupree, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Harry Beckett, Dick Morrissey, and many of the leading lights of the British Blues scene. Richard’s band leading pedigree includes Spirit Level as well as playing and recording with Otis Grand & The Dance Kings, and backing US bluesmen Larry Garner and Joe Louis Walker. His book, “Improvising Blues Piano”, is the best-selling blues piano tutor on the market. The pair are joined by the highly acclaimed bass and drum team of Andres (Andy) Lafone and Peter Miles. “JT4” is a subtle blend of barrelhouse blues, Chicago R&B and jazz. All the guys have impressive musical pedigrees and have earned their reputation by hard work, sweat and dedication…” - Emrys Baird, Blues & Soul Magazine.
